What can you tell us about the T-Wolves next coach? Is he down with the stat revolution?

Incidentally, I'm surprised Phil Jackson's name never even came up for the T-Wolves. Seems like a natural fit. But I guess love (and the prospect of team ownership) conquers all.

So he went and he had an immediate impact when he went into the game. That was always a different variable that you really didn't notice when he was going into the game."

Whoops. Here's to all of the misspelled NBA names to come.

Kevin, thanks for the link. Eager to see what he does with the T-Wolves.

Dwane frequently brought my work into the coaches meeting and stated his respect for what I do. Whether he is "down with the stat revolution" is a broader question. He doesn't embrace stats for the sake of stats but used insight that I brought from stat analysis (I almost never gave the team lists of numbers but rather suggested actions with a basis in #s). He and I worked well together and I would gladly work with him again. Personally and professionally, I will miss him on the team (and Dean Demopoulos as he'll probably go with Dwane). He gave me a lot of opportunity both on and off the floor, so I'm glad to see him get his own big opportunity.

And so, if our man Dean goes to Minnesota, and THEY improve by 20 games, then something is definitely happening.
