New Thread: Running The Gauntlet

Posted on Friday, September 18th, 2009 at 10:28 am by Xteve

Henry is the man.

Busy busy weekend and week coming up. I’m going to two shows in the next 3 days and am spending the rest of next week working on more incidental music for Sonicsgate. (Shameless self-promotion) If you haven’t yet pledged, please do so … this film is going to be awesome.

Best of luck to Hawks & Sounders too. Hawks memo: NO TURNOVERS.

Three things I learned last weekend:

1) Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good. Ask Brandon Stokely.
2) Jay Cutler, meet karma. Karma, Jay Cutler.
3) Somehow, inexplicably, they still let Kanye into award shows …

Have a great weekend!

Two Huskies on the team? The NBA’s like a car wreck. You know you shouldn’t look but it’s hard not to.

    D_G,

I an’t come up with one either. I’ve been to Upper Marlboro and I have no idea why you’d need 2 loaded guns and a shotgun to roll into that town.

Maybe he was going into DC?

Why do you need three guns when you only have two hands?

    How’s that?

  9. D_G Says:

Maybe he was preping for a role in a Quinton Terintino film?

    I like him MORE now.

    “Congratulations oklahoma. FOKC.”

Sadly, that is not a problem in just Oklahoma.

  13. JAS Says:

Boy, the NBA really knows what it’s doing, doesn’t it?:

el pistolero! El Mariachi! Desperado! Rodriguez, not Tarantino. But you are in the ballpark, Baker. They made the joint flick Grindhouse together, what a great ride that was!

it’s interesting to hear about Delonte’s mood swings. I can say that the look on his face is typically a sad one, and I’ve wondered why in the past. Anyone with mood disorders should not be carrying a loaded gun or three. I wish the best for that kid.

Camp, thanks for the link. What a freaking weird ass vid that was. Begs a few questions:

    1) Whatever they was smokin’ before they made the vid, I want some!
    2) Why did they post this on the internet?
    3) How much did the NBA fine D.West for this?
    4) Did the amount he got paid by KFC offset his NBA fine?
    5) If you made over $4 mil in one year, wouldn’t you tip the KFC guy something insane?
